The Gulf Coast Medical Society (GCMS) is an official constituent association of the National Medical Association (NMA) and the Florida State Medical Association, is comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals working together to improve health and wellness, access to culturally competent quality care, academic and career opportunities for underserved communities in Southwest Florida since 2005. The NMA promotes the collective interest of healthcare providers and patients of African descent by serving as their collective voice and leading force for parity in medicine, elimination of health disparities and promotion of optimal health.
