The Gulf Coast Medical Society (GCMS) is a local branch of the National Medical Association (NMA) and a Florida-based tax exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties since 2005. We are composed of health care professionals dedicated to improving health equality, reducing different rates of disease amongst vulnerable populations, and mentoring the next generation of healthcare providers in underserved communities across Southwest Florida.
